Cepelinai with cheese is a modern and interesting interpretation of a classic Lithuanian dish. Cheese – a mild, sweet milk cheese – becomes a great meat substitute, giving the dish not only a delicate taste, but also a new texture.
The cepelli are frozen immediately after they are made, so they retain their fresh taste.
Always have the perfect lunch or dinner at hand.
Simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients: potato mass (65%): grated potatoes, boiled potatoes, iodized salt, ascorbic acid. Curd filling (45%): sweet milk curd, butter (82%), iodized salt, dried mint, sugar. Average nutritional value per 100 g of product: energy value – 1042 kj / 248 kcal; fat 8.5 g, of which saturated fatty acids 1.5 g, carbohydrates 30 g, of which sugars 18 g, proteins 13 g, salt 1 g.
Storage conditions: store at a temperature not higher than -18 °C. Do not refreeze after thawing! Made in Lithuania.
Instructions for cooking frozen cepelli:
- Pour water into a pot and add salt (recommended: 2-3 liters of water - 2 teaspoons of salt)
- Once the water boils, remove the cepelli from the freezer and place them in a pot.
- As the water boils, swirl the pot or lightly lift the cepelinai from the bottom.
- Once the cepelinai rise to the surface of the water, cook for another 20 minutes over low heat.
- Serve the cooked dumplings with natural sour cream.
