INTRODUCTION
A traveler, walking the path of truth, decided to organize a show in the city market square in order to earn money for food. Having attached a knife to the tip of his walking stick, the traveler made a spear and began to show all sorts of tricks. A huge crowd immediately gathered, and one of the local beauties even tried to compete with him to see who was better in combat. No matter how they attacked, with or without weapons, the traveler easily overcame them, holding the shaft of his spear with only three fingers and painfully bludgeoning the attackers or cutting them with the blade.
In the evening, the traveler decided to end his performances. A young man came out of the crowd of spectators and addressed him:
"Truly, there is no equal to you. You are a master of the spear, and I have long been looking for someone who could teach me this art."

If you resist him, he will take the spear from you by force."
The smiling traveler replied:
"I do not own the spear, it is my master, it cannot be bought, stolen, or taken by force. One can only hire oneself as its servant and learn to carry out its whims. If anyone tries to possess it in any other way, they will incur misfortune, and the magical power of the spear will transfer to some other object."
"That's it," cried the young man, "why is this spear so ugly! The miraculous power does not want to draw the attention of the ignorant. Teach me to honor it and carry out its commands."
“If you want to learn to serve her and enjoy her protection,” the traveler replied, “you will first have to pay for the spear’s officer’s place, training, and maintenance for a year in advance, and then set off on a journey following the spear to the sacred mountains, for that is precisely where it is now going.”
By the evening of the same day, everything was ready, and the traveler with the spear, accompanied by the young man, set off...
